Food and soveriegnty - we indeed are what we eat. The parts that caught my attention in that photoessay were how much processed food/containerized food people around the world eat. And how much/how wide a variety of food. From what I understand a wide variety of nutrient dense, calorie sparse, high fiber foods is what humans generally thrive on. Thanks again for your post Brother.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389256887443298739.post-172125486005128592009-04-13T14:51:00.000-04:002009-04-13T14:51:00.000-04:00Thanks for the post. I've been growing it - indoors over the winter, having gotten it last year from a seed savers exchange. It started late, I had to move it indoors d/t the cold. Now that it's warming up around here, I've been putting it outside, in the hopes to get enough seed to share with friends. And enough fruit to eat, for that matter. I didn't realize what a wonderful fruit it was, just decided to try growing it on a whim.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389256887443298739.post-71157994388621874912009-04-02T15:08:00.000-04:002009-04-02T15:08:00.000-04:00What an interesting post- thanks. What an interesting post- thanks.Leslie Richmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01247847929212871770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389256887443298739.post-71284166546448700902009-03-24T12:27:00.000-04:002009-03-24T12:27:00.000-04:00I rate your blog to the fullest. I am not ready for a raw food approach yet, but your blog has motivated me to go back to vegan and make a serious effort to stick with it.Rashida Chinue Blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09223696111227837941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389256887443298739.post-71542656514100942382009-03-23T13:06:00.000-04:002009-03-23T13:06:00.000-04:00Why you wanna put me out of work? I do not EVER give children Kool-Aid. It is always 100% fruit juice or water. The children I work with in general are not milk drinkers so that is not given either besides in their cereals. I still can't understand for the life of me WHY, WHY she had the Windshield Washer fluid in the house?!?!? It is always stored in the trunk of the car or really high up in our garage to where even I (at 5'4") have to climb a ladder to get it down or ask my husband. Luckily it sounds as if all of the babies will be fine. It was just a very, very good thing that they did not like the taste of that stuff.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8389256887443298739.post-52461245356461224322009-03-13T12:16:00.000-04:002009-03-13T12:16:00.000-04:00See..that's why we get down.
